Its amazing what you can pick up and learn from you tube. Some fantastic builders out there and really great that they take time to show how they achieve those results.

Been modeling since before the age of 9 and that's a long time (a lady Never states her age🥺) and am still learning new techniques and better styles off YouTube everyday, even if it's "don't buy A, buy B instead". Sooo many good modelers out there (I don't have to say scale modelers, we know where and who we are) and most offer something. Hell, if not for Uncle Nightshift and others, I wouldn't have had my latest "Doh" moment. Cleaning/blending washes with spirits/solvents using brushes? Pah! That should have been a simple step that common sense implied but, hey, watch me flail around like a turtle on its back till I am course corrected. Doh moments are a major part of my early hobbyist era (modeling period, builders development, glue-boting* patent pending). YouTube, as well as the online communities have really enriched the hobby. Anyway, excellent job👍

I know 🙂 the only problem with you tube is that you think you have found the best technique for you.. but no, there is always the next great modeller round the corner that has a different method that you just have to try... all good fun. Thinking of getting the basic kit multiple times and making it using the different various methods to see which one suits me most. Maybe the tamiya Panzer II.
