The Tigershark would have become a instant success with countries operating the F-5E. All that was needed was a small order of say 40 aircraft from the USAF and then lot's of countries that couldn't afford the F-16 would have followed, Mexico, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tunisia, Morocco I think. One of those big what ifs...
