Good Morning, Dave All the elements came together very well for the diorama, and we don't see enough dioramas of the Great Patriotic War. The weathering is spot on, not over the top. The Cat on the Tail fin is interesting, something that must have been popular with the Russians and Germans at the time. (Kriegsmarine U-48 has a Cat emblem on its conning tower) Did this show up at the club meeting this week?? Hope I have a chance to see it sometime. As for your next diorama have you every thought of using a 1/35 scale armour and 1/48 scale aircraft for a forced perspective effect?? Just saying!!! Catch Ya, Logan Post Script: Check out 1917, movie coming out this January with director Sam Mendes, starting Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Strong. Looks like another movie night for the crew. (I'll buy the tickets early this time)

If you look closely at the tail you will see a mouse that only appeared on the left side only. The famous white cat was painted in September 1941. Galchenko decided to paint a cat in answer to the "Tigers head" he saw on Me-109 that took part in the Karelian front. On the movie front I recently watched and enjoyed
Mission of Honour on Netflix. The story about the Polish Hurricane Squadron in wwii.
