A Battle of Blenheim
Vallejo primer applied
Cockpit green: looks quite 'lime' in this light....will give a shade or two of grey to take it off that register.
Eddie's masks are always a good investment on a greenhouse-build such as this!
Pilot’s perch made better with Airwaves’ WW2 RAF buckles set.
The concrete-floor monster claimed a part attached to the instrument panel, so I’ve improvised. Interior green is the venerable Humbrol enamel 78.
Pleased with the overall look and feel of the office: mainly Humbrol enamels and a little scratch building
The canopies were as noted elsewhere not the best fitting- so used some
Plasticard and filler to get everything in shape. Next: another coat of primer to check

Bristol Mercury engines beautifully defined in SBS’s resin. I had to drill a 0.4mm hole into the hub to get the 3 holding rods to sit better and be more capable of their mating to the inside of the cowels.
Two of them, slightly better once you’ve made one, so the second’s a bit better with the alignment
SBS engines and cowels are a great upgrade. They need pairing down quite a bit to fit into the bulkheads. I’m trying to burnish the collector rings - not completely happy at this point.
Clear varnish and decals after we’ve painted the wing’s gun port
Got a spurt on with this. Much still needs to be done re. painting- but am happy with first time use of Johnson’s polish.
Decals went on well, albeit a little thick. Cartograf colours and register were spot on.
after a bit of Vallejo matt varnish....
added a little detail on the Vickers gun.
Last shots after another wash and Matt varnish coat

I like this very much Andy. The extra care with the glazing really paid off. 🙂

Neil, always a delight when you pop 'round...it's a sweet kit, bar the glazing.@Derek: thanks for the view too.

Thanks Tom B, I'm noting quite a few builds on here of this classic early war plane. Loads to learn from. I may try their Mk.IV one day!
