Something tells me you're in for the desolated and rusty... 😉 Again, looking awesome! 👍

You are right Patrick! I try to make a few models in the same kind of scene after one another so I can use my experience of the previous model into the next. Otherwise it gets a bit lost and I become rusty 🙂.

And Tim..just try. It's so much fun to do! Finally you can make a scratch without feeling bad 🙂

Oh, now see? I love that. It's like a lovely optical illusion... you think "geez... someone just left a car out to rust" but, no! It's all created destruction... every bit!
It's like those cakes that look like other stuff... it looks like something horrible... but it's actually delicious!

That broken window! I have no clue on how you did that! Blows my mind.

Greg, Laurent, Jonn, Bruce,Mark Rui, Robert and Rene, thank you all for your nice comments! Rene and Bruce; shattering the window was really easy. ik took my 'dremel' like multitool and scratched the windows in high speed. Moving the drill constantly over the surface of the windows otherwise they would melt..the real hole in the window was done by keeping the drill in one place and go through the glass just messing a bit with it to make the hole wider.

Album info
Inspired by the many Citroen DS I spotted on my holidays in France I tried to make a 'Sleeping Beauty'. Often seen there in the bleaching sun, but almost never with the windows that broken as I did, I did create the true rusting spots of a DS. Because I own one myself, (1972 break), which is in a much better state 🙂 I know from experience 🙁 were the rust occurs. The one I made here has been sitting in a wet environment for a long period of time... perhaps a bit heavy on the weathering but i like a little drama diorama.
