Hi Steven, I've enquired to Revell about a replacement part but waiting to hear. In the mean time I'm going to try either the hot water method or, as you suggest, a hairdrier. Failing that I'm thinking a diorama with a crash on landing.

The bend seems to follow the engine edge, if the wing can be cut off (or even partially separated at the front, where the bend seems the most severe) along the panellines it can be aligned to the upper wing after fixing the engine nacelle.

Thanks for that suggestion Steven but I don't feel that confident about the process yet. I'll wait to see if I can get a replacement before experimenting.

You should be able to get replacement parts, I've seen Revell being generous.

Thanks Steven, I'll be happy if they just send the part. I've just got to be patient as they have said possibly 4 to 6 weeks. We live in hope.
