The surfaces of this machine should be equipped with a little less abrasion to make the not unspectacular paintwork stand out well.

And there it is: I have tackled with these scary decals! Finally they settled and behaved well.... but I have to refill my stock of decal -softeners and -setters!

The decals look like they went down nicely, Roland! Are you going to weather/chipping them too?

Gordon, on this Ki-84 I will leave the decals undamaged, quite the opposite of the second Hayate. Here the decals, already softened by the softeners, have been damaged even more. in an appropriate way, so I hope!

Now it is done! Let me show you some pictures of the finished Ki-84. The last steps of the construction went as smooth and pleasant as the project has been so far. I can still warmly recommend Hasegawa's magnificent kit!
I hope you like the pictures! Thanks for your comments and suggestions!
