Cockpit detail was nonexistent, but not like a lot will be seen anyway... added a few stringers just to keep my OCD at bay.

A little paint and wash to suggest a wooden interior. Not much will be seen, so not a lot of time going into it. Will have to make a seat though, the kit only had the old plank/pilot for the interior.

Sprayed the first coat of green. Model Master Dark Green, went down nicely.

Don't you hate realizing something after the fact? Finished painting the fuselage, and after looking at references pics numerous times, realized there were no guns on the Danish machines. And this is after reading about their use and that that they were 'unarmed trainers'...

Nice thing about the D.VII is the lack of rigging. Or at least, there is very little. Just between the gear, on the tail, and only two Lines between fuselage and centre-Wing struts.

Received my order for various size Roundels from Denmark! Decalling is one of the most satisfying parts (for me anyway) of building because it really brings a project to life!
The Danish Roundels on the Fokker have a white border, that my aftermarket decals don't have. Used a Testors White Decal Sheet and made oversized circles. Applied the Roundels on top of that. Happy with the results!
Now I have to figure out how to do the vertical stab/rudder…
And one of the ez-line bracing wires on the gear popped off, so have to re-attach that.

Finished! The smaller part of the vertical stab took about 25 trys to get the decal placed correctly. The LN Roundels went down nicely over the white discs I cut from a blank Testors White Decal Paper.

Good work on this - and this tail marking adds interest to it 😉
