This is a build of a Red Army Sopwith Camel using the Academy kit and Print Scale decal sheet. This model with the original British Royal Naval markings is one of the first I built a few years ago, when I was getting back into the hobby. However, I did a poor job, as the paint was too thick in some places and the decals were flaking off. I decided to salvage it with new wheels, a new paint job, some sanding, and the Printscale decal sheet with the unique bat emblem. I took some liberties with the decal placement, as only one picture of this plane's configuration appears online, and similar Red Army WW1 era aircraft markings varied widely.
