Started with the pit. Lovely detail from Hasegawa here. The black area behind the pilot will be repainted. Brush painting it seemed a good idea then, but I realised I am not master painter Augie! Back to the airbrush then...

Welcome Konrad, Robert, Łukasz, Sergej and Villiers!
Quite the company is forming up.
The kit looks very nice with some features that help the modeller. For example it provides two sets of wheel well covers for in flight and on the ground. The in flight covers are a perfect fit and this can help in painting even a wheels down aircraft.
The only shortcoming is the lack of the mechanism to position the canopy open. I'll think of something.

Welcome Ekki!
So the only shortcoming of the kit so far is the lack of the upper half of the airducts. I used some metal foil just to create the illusion of that. Not the cleanest work, but it will do.
One other thing is that the end of the fuselage MUST not be glued to the inner parts of the burner cans. It will cause fit issues at the lower rear end of the fuselage.
The fit of the sidewalls in the intakes was so and so. Some puttying and it will be ok.
The other out of the box addition is a small sensor inside the left intake.
Some sanding needed on the spine and in front of the intake.
Finally, I would have preferred a little deeper panel lines, they will probably get lost after the paint and the gloss coat.

Thank you Łukasz! Come the weekend I might close up the fuselage. Fit looks ok with some force.
