Hey Jos, the fitting is a pain in the a...! The kit is in my oppinion completely over engineered. I've build many "bug's" in the last four years (Hasegawa, Kinetic, Meng), but the Hobby Boss Kits are in my oppinion very hard to handle (Lot of filler, endless re-scribing Sessions) But hey, that's Life 😁, when the paint Job and the weathering is done, all the grief will be forgotten 👍.

Thx Tommy, right now I am building a MENG F/A-18E Super Bug, that's really a shake and bake kit. According to your experience with this new HB Growler, now I am definitely gonna buy the new MENG Growler and not this one...😄

Right Buddy 👍👍👍. Don't make the same mistake i've done and jump on this kit. The Meng kit is DEFINITELY the best "Super Bug" kit out there. When the Growler kit is available I will buy it too 😁. But now let's see how this will Work Out for me...

Don't be scared mates, most of the putty will soon be gone 😄. If everything else falls, I'm thinking about a nice "what if" Diorama at the "Boneyard" / AMARC ... 😁.

Definitely watching, great work so far 👍
I have this kit as well for the E, and this is the first HB rhino I see here, so quite interesting. Tbh I dont think this is too much putty, more like super hornet average on the usual places. The meng one I have on my bench now did not look that much better before sanding 🙂

Fair enough, Daniel, indeed those are the common putty spots for a (Super)Bug. 😉
