I don't know why he put putty on the bodys rear. It was a pain in the a$$ to sand and paint it. The plastic of the kit is not that good too. I had a lot to do, until the paint was smooth and shiny. I used three different clear coat with 5 layers of it. At least the body is ok. Man, I'm not a fan of that piece of plastic.

My second favourite car ever! Watching with pleasure and interest, of course!

A very nice little gem.

Wow very different. Is it me or can I see it in the future with a motorbike engine, camouflage paint and machine guns!

Thank you, mates.

It is you, Nigel *lol* But: a neat idea, if I loose my pation with this damned paint job on the cabins canopy. Another wet sanding and clear coat failed.

That sucks. Is it feasible to build a new canopy?

I won't try it. I'm not in the mood for it. I think, I won't be able to get such a clear part out of any mold of mine. Lights and lamps are no problem. But this part is huge and curvy. Looks like a big bean open at the bottom.

I uploaded a picture of the current state of it.

That's so strange! Perhaps this is the question of paint or primer...

that sucks. My idea is to weather that thing and paint the canopy "looks like a leather"-thing

That's unbelievable. What was the previous owner thinking? Make a tarpaulin and call it a barn find?
