Thanks Simon! 🙂
The real Leopard is my daughter Clara, 7. The tank is an Italian Ariete C.1 bulit by Iveco/Oto Melara.
The model was a rather nice ready-built one, based on the Trumpeter kit. It once was part of a collection from modeller in Brussels, who passed away two years ago. A friend of mine helped his widow to sell the gigantic collection (a whole garage of boxes with 1:87 th scale models) for the German Kids Cancer Fund. So I took this one and some others (way too much) models for a donation.
I repainted the tank, as Italian 3-tone-NATO-colours differ a little from the usual European hues. Also it was "weathered" with olive drab on the lower chassis and along the panel lines. After my repaint this was solved and the typical treatment with washes, oils and so on was applied. Tracks and details were (re-)painted. I added a MG3 of an old Revell SpPz 2 Luchs and an antenna from Orange Hobby.
Clara and her brother Kilian, 5, took care of the base. Wooden plate, styrene foam, sand, Tamiya paints, pigments and some plants for heather, birches etc. as seen on the exercise in Latvia 2019. She really enjoys watching Youtube builds e.g. from Plasmo (David Damek), Tom Grigat, Modellbau 360 with Berthold Tacke or Christian Schiller from MBK (she always laughs out loud, when he is talking about "hot shit"). Other than that she's a typical girl for god's sake! 🙂

Why did I write Leopard?!
Must have slept, you're right of course!
Nevertheless, good work by you and your children😄
