Kit Build - F3D-2 Skyknight Korean War Night Fighter
Lots of cleaning up of parts and dry fitting here. Weights packed into the nose, the exhausts replaced by copper tubes wheel wells fitted to the wings (which required much sanding of parts
Not a great fit on the intakes either. I also cut out a place for a wing-spar to be fitted to aid in the support of the wing
The warped fuselage was slowly glued together starting from front and working back using heavy clamps to keep it in place until the glue dried
Undersides and intakes needed quite a bit of sanding filling and smoothing to achieve a decent fit of parts

Maciej, It certainly was an "All Skills on Deck" build. Tuned out nicely in the end so all the hard work paid off - Cheers - You can see the finished model at my website: flypastrush.com/post..odel-f3d-2-skyknight
