Boeing P-26 Peashooter
A quick and easy kit, once I pick a blue that might be correct. So many blues seemed to have been used during its short lifespan, but I liked this one which is a 50-50 mix from a Hasegawa kit (though I used Vallejo paints instead, Dark Prussian and Deep Sky).
Learnt that you must get the primer coat absolutely perfect for the Gunze H329 Gloss Yellow wings coat since the yellow is so transparent ANY blemish is impossible to cover no matter how many coats of Yellow you use.
Lots of rigging which went pretty well, though not totally accurate. Went with 0.5mm plastic rod glued to the end of the EZ line to help thread thru all the various supplied holes by the kit.
Used a Future/Pledge substitute thats's available here in Oz. A water based 'Self-shining floor polish' for timber vinyl and laminate. Seemed to go on alright (Better on the matte Blue paint than the Gloss yellow). We will see how it goes long term I suppose.
The end, have another yellow wing in the works.....

You have me really liking the yellow-wing scheme. I am wary of doing a lot of rigging/though. I can manage a single line for an antenna, on a good day. May I ask what EZ line you used? It seems thicker than what I have. Man, the set of yellow-winged aircraft is really nice!
