Slight setback - Kitty Hawk supplied decals... garbage, in particular the wing tanks. No amount of coaxing, cutting, hammering, or cussing would get these to behave.

After losing my religion when nothing would work (Decal solutions from mild to ball-buster and even Tamiya Extra Thin), made the decision to trash the wing tank decals. Better to go without.

Despite the being a struggle (brittle plastic, some poor fit, terrible decals, etc.), the finished kit looks really sharp. Final clear coat: MRP Semi-GLOSS followed immediately with Mr Leveling Thinner. After 24 hours, the clear coat turned out exactly as I wanted.
