Drawings for the concrete stand on which the aircraft will rest
Mold for the concrete stand completed, so concrete can be poured. On the top, there is a fuselage plug inserted on top to allow for the plane to sit correctly. This plug was made by placing plasticine on the bottom of the fuselage, trimming it to size while accounting for the thickness of the front and rear mold plates and letting it harden, then sealing off the ends and pouring the plug with gypsum. The front and rear plates of the mold have the correct indentations for the plug to sit level with the top. The tape holds the plug in place so it doesn't float off when the concrete is poured, and is still easy to remove afterwards.
First iteration of the concrete stand. Still a rough version, but you get the idea. I managed to break this one by dropping it...
third version already, and much cleaner surface. Also tried the striping, but need some practice with the masking tape and airbrush techniques...
