I don't think I've ever managed to finish a kit quicker than in three weeks. Today though I've got the idea to give a weekend project a try.

Update on following weekend - kit binned. 🙁

Didn't manage to finish it last weekend, but reached remarkably long - on Saturday evening the kit was pretty much assembled, primed and preshaded. On Sunday I had unexpected visitors, so I only managed to do some painting. Paint job and final bits were completed over the course of the week. Today, all I had to do was putting on the decals, some weathering and putting on final coat of varnish. Then disaster struck - plexiglas cover for camera slit on the port side somehow got unglued and fell into the fuselage. Desperate attempt to cut off the tail end completed the destruction process.

The kit is binned, but the experience was valuable. Actually I intend to pick up two units of that kit ASAP and build it both in British and Swedish version.

I always mean to try to finish a kit a lot faster, but never do. I am not in any rush and half the fun for me, is researching the details.
