M3 Grant Mk I

The United States sold our M3 tanks to the British. The first ones were rivet constructed and the British named them Lee, after General Robert E. Lee. The later ones were welded, and the British named them Grant, after General Ulysses S. Grant. The problem was spalling from the shock of the shells.
