Da Vinci’s Multiple Barrel Gun

This is a wooden kit. High quality, laser-cut aeroply. The canon barrels are made of some kind of metal. The instructions are easy to follow and assembly is straightforward. The main issue is the lack of detail which makes the “toy-like” look but the finished model is certainly dimensionally similar to Da Vinci’s sketches. Of course, I added more details here and there (nails, hinge, handles, rails, etc) but I think the wheels required more work, as in machined axes or turned-wood spokes. Although there is no evidence that such a weapon ever existed it would be nice to add some color and an hypothetical combat wear. It was fun to build and I finished the completed model with oil and wax.
