KdoGer 40 was the most sophisticated telemeter type, used by Bulgarian Royal Army in WWII.
Each telemeter directed at least a battery of 8.8 cm Flak guns(18/36) and quite often- additional batteries, that used Malsi Gerät to recalculate firing data.
At least 4 KdoGer 40 were deployed for the protection of Sofia(the capital city suffered heavily from Allied bombing raids in autumn 1943/spring 1944).
I'll build the telemeter in transport mode, with the Sd.Anh. 52 trailer towed by a MB L4500S truck.I have no photographic evidence for this couple, but my educated guess is that a 4,5 t. load capacity vehicle must have been used- rangefinder transport box does not fit into the load bed of any 3 t. type truck in Army's inventory back then.
The load bed of Zvezda's MB L4500S will accomodate not only the rangefinder box, but also all other accessories/eqipment (cable drums, batteries, generator, switch and relay boxes e.t.c), required for KdoGer 40 operation.
