Thanks for the advice, John and Robert. I'm sensing I might try a few experiments with an old cotton handkerchief. John, you stiffened the sails too? I really liked your neat rigging - I'll try to reach your standard of workmanship 🙂👍

I can't take credit for much of that. My Dad did 95% of it. As for stiffening the sails, the material was fairly stiff to begin with. I think the caffeine did the rest.
