Not approaching this build with the intention to be historically accurate on the unit markings. I’m blending some markings between VT-5 and VT-27 (I.e. the placement of intl orange markings and numbering - will omit a few decals) during the late 70s and early 80s. Also, I liked the “C” carrier model with the tail hook instead of a “B”. So I’m mixing my own colors on international orange, some markings may not be 100% to scale as I’m using photos for reference not the instructions. I’m also choosing to leave the tiger mouth off, I’m not a fan of the markings.
