I built this 1944 LCVP more to illustrate a 1982 Falklands landing rather than an accurate portrayal of what was actually used in 1982. Even if I could source a modern era LCVP they look similar enough. And I know that the Scimitar would have sunk the Higgins .. but the size suited the space available for the diorama!
