So many decals. Don't be alarmed by the missing hit of green on the air box. I stuck my big fat thumb on that and ripped it off. I do have a spare sheet of decals so I'll get that repaired.

Thank you Marcel. I have to say this is really an excellent kit. Not fiddly at all, even the rear wing element gave me no issues. And it's a lovely car. As for the driver I believe I will go with Zanardi. I was never a fan of him as a driver but after his horrific accident and what he's done since has been most impressive.

There is a VERY nice decal sheet you can buy on the Federation Models website.It costs $25USD. For best effect,pre-paint the model silver.Warning: the decals are VERY thin; this is a good & bad thing; good, because they conform BEAUTIFULLY to the model's compound curves; bad because they can bunch up,curl under,and tear very easily if you're not meticulous in applying them. They also tend to stick in place before you've finished positioning them. For that reason, I'd suggest mixing a few drops of dish detergent in the water before dipping the decals in.

I was thinking that I would have to wait until next month's model money budget to get this one from OWL directly BUT I was again taken by surprise. I found a listing for two bottles of unopened Model Master Acrylic RLM24 & wondered if the seller had anything else I could tack on to the order to make the transaction worthwhile. Hitting the back button this decal sheet was literally right next to the paint listing! The rest is history~

I'll be using this with a Revell Fw-190A-8, that also comes with the parts for the R11 version, plus it'll be doctored with the old Extratech PE set. Since I have it planned to build an Airfix Fw-190A-8 with Airmodel slipper tanks on the wings to mount on top of my AMTech Ju-88H, plus the Eduard Fw-190A-5/U12, Fw-190A-8/R8 & Fw-190F-8; I thought a Fw-190A-8/R11 would fit in quite nicely! I'm undecided if I'll tack on a Kora Fw-190S-5 & Kora Fw-190S-8 just yet. I DO have two training variants of the Bf-109 so I'm kinda thinking that I should? That said the price difference between the AZmodel Bf-109S & AZmodel Bf-109G-12 compared to those from Kora are quite different in price; Though the latter two are based on the fantastic Eduard kits. Never mind the gorgeous IBG Fw-190D-9 & IBG Fw-190D-11; Plus the epitomes DML Ta-152H-1.

Now if I can just break free from the impulse buys on eBay, the monthly orders of reserved kits from Super-Hobby, then maybe I can get a replacement Airbrush & a decent compressor with an air tank! You know ... something I need to paint ANY of these above mentioned birds?!
