pato05Kon_Bar - Thank you very much. I was thinking about cutting the pilots door, but then I decided not to and make my work a bit easier. The problem is, that the doors would be too thick and would look unrealistic (like heavy armoured door from a tank). Hobby Boss makes very clear parts, so I think the interior will be quite visible anyway. The back doors will be of course open 🙂

pato05Many thanks. Olly - I don't use microscope - just a really fine and sharp brush. All painted with Vallejo paints on brush and finished with Light Grey and Medium Grey wash from Ammo Of Mig Jimenez.

TreehuggerIs that maybe the old Humbrol metallic gray paint on the blue truck? I vaguely remember having such a Humbrol paint bucket.
Btw, I learned a trick off youtube. Vinyl tyres look better if you clean them with a swab dipped in alcohol, that removes the shine.

BozzerThat's actually quite an achievement! I have to admit, it would've looked better with a colour, but I appreciate that time wouldn't allow. Maybe consider clear coating it, after masking up the clear parts? That would help protect the plastic, with age, and keep the prescious memories alive, that little bit longer?
Glad you enjoyed your time with your son. Hope he settles in Houston and continues with the hobby 🙂
