I sprayed the nose Aluminium - when it should have been white. I will resolve this.

Couple of bits to flat off.

Really must get some small plastic bags! It'd save on the tape and be less worrying than wrapping a build in sticky tape!

WORK IN PROGRESS. UPDATED: 26/6/24...
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/5/1/9/1755519-49836-89-720.jpg)
The decals on this kit are VERY thick. Making them difficult to get to conform to rounded surfaces.
![Album image #21 Album image #21](/albums/img/5/2/0/1755520-49836-45-720.jpg)
Fortunately because they are so thick, they did hold up pretty well to tonnes of softening solution - I resorted to some no nonsense stuff: breaking out the stronger Tamiya solution. I hope you'd agree it's getting better(ish!) The surface blooming will disappear after a subsequent varnish coat.

Watching, nice progress. I love the old Monograms, lots of work but they look pretty good.

Hello John and Villiers, thanks for stopping by 🙂 and thanks for your comments and also others for likes too. I'm with you John, I like these old Monogram kits 👍 - well you know I have a penchant for vintage builds anyway! 🙂 I've never built a Panther before - such a lovely shaped airframe, I think I'm gonna enjoy.
