My first attempt at modelling after being away for 35 years. Back when I was young I made tons of kits, but in a basic way. Build them, paint them with enamel and that was it. So the actual construction is not new to me, but things like airbrush, acrylics, washes, to coats, masking, various glue types etc. were all new to me. I made a lot of mistakes. Some I could correct, others not. Puts me on a steep learning curve, but I enjoyed it a lot!

Welcome back to modelling, I found the head mounted magnifying lenses/eye glasses essential when I got back into modelling a couple of years ago and found my eyesight not up to it anymore !

Jaap's story is the same as mine. Now retired, have the time and money to now glue plastic again! But eyesight is the challenge. Any recommendations for magnifiers that I can use with glasses....?
