Great day at the Scale Scotland Show yesterday.
I had decided to enter 4 of my models to the competition for some interest, and was amazed to get a Gold for my namesake the USS Kidd (Dragon 1:350) - this was my first ship build since returning to the hobby.
The seabase was a 'practice' for the future bigger diorama - paper mache on mdf and painted with Liquitex acrylics (fyi refer to Marklinofsweden facebook page tutorial).
