marlin - you're not wrong ... challenging is an understatement . and adding a resin cockpit makes it worse . on the weekend i stood on the front canopy - snapping it in two so it's going to be one of those builds . some stuff goes together well ( the wing join is one ) other stuff ... not so much . even left parts out to make it easier to assemble ( the big central divider between the engines ) decalled it yesterday - in the end it looks like a jag ...

I also had a Kittyhawk Jaguar: in my opinion this is one of the worst model kit ever: not a single piece fitting, most of ordnance is useless for the British version, poor photo etched, engines and avionic bay are approximative, instruction booklet lacks of sheet and I have some suspect about decals; I gave up when attempt to install the front canopy.
I will follow you to learn what kind of trick will use.

Sorry captGPF - didn't take any photos of the annoying stuff … the kit's definitely designed to have everything open - it's really only when you close all the doors and panels when you get issues . The kit has some inaccuracies too - I used the pylons from the airfix/heller jaguar to get the correct ones . Dull coat went on today. I'm actually liking it at the moment - just remains to see how bad the broken canopy is once the mask comes off

Marco - no - the decals weren't great when I got the kit (the "sadman" nose art was fine - some others were cracked) so I got a set of kitsworld decals from the uk . Ended up using "pink spitfire"

Canopy did not come out very well after the snap … but if I keep it a metre away I can't really notice it … probably leave it as is - not worth putting much more time into it due to the canopy
