Enough details and everything fits perfectly.
Only the ugly vinyl tracks are a weak point.

Same as James. Very good rust effect on the spare tracks. I even like the look of the vinyl tracks here.

This kit is really cool, as it creates real texture and real rust (JoeFix Rust Set).

Though the rust effect as such looks really good, my question is why there would be rust on the tracks at all 🙂 Unless I'm mistaken, this represents a tank in the Second World War. That means the tank would be brand new, so there would not have been much time for rust to form at all, not to mention that any flakes of rust that might have appeared on the tracks would soon be gone just by driving the tank. And that's not even considering that high-quality steel like that used for tracks barely rusts at all in the first place …

as I wanted to try out the rust kit, yes maybe it's a little bit too much.
But that's my building and my choice 😉

But anyway, the so called "Flugrost" builds it very fast will bringing material over the sea by ship.
And I have seen a lot of tanks im museum, with relatively new tracks, which had already rust on it, also the M26 at Bastogne Barracks (Belgium).

Tanks shipped overseas by the Americans had *everything* that moved covered in something called par-el-ketone precisely to prevent rust 🙂 If the vehicle stands still, sure, some rust will form, but like I said, a little bit of movement and most of that will be gone very quickly.

Anyway, call it a Spanish School model and everything is fine 😉

I can not completely agree, as I have seen several refurbished WW2 tanks running at Bastogne, Bovington,... with rust on there tracks... but at the end it is artistic freedom 😉
Never mentioned, that my dioramas or buildings are highly realistic, it's for fun and my pleasure.

And, if you look closely to the tracks, you will see, that all running parts are metal shining.

Gorgeous! How do you get such a realistic looking rust? I feel like getting a tetanus shot just by looking at the realistic rust effects!

the rust is mainly done with "JoeFix Rust Set" and adding Rust pigments from Abteilung 502.
