Added water gel effect and the water lilies.
2nd layer of resin water. Ready for water gel effects.
Poured first layer of resin water.
Thin layer of AK still water to seal bottom.
Grass painted but I'm not sure yet about the color. Maybe it's too green.
Grass still needs to be painted.

Thanks gary for your idea to use buff. I can see a difference but it's barely noticeable in the photos.
Maybe I should use more buff but I'll wait and see what the whole scene looks like with resin water and water lilies.

Wow! This is going to be a stunner! I agree, the tree roots are well observed, so very convincing. May I suggest a few dead grass stems amongst the fresh leaves? Perhaps some old tree leaves too? Can't wait to see the lily pads...
