Ben MI'm not pleased by the little square feet on this one. I need to come up with some nice round dish-shaped pads like the Apollo lunar module has.

Ben MOMG. I took it outside to photograph it and I dropped it. Reassembly commences.

Ben MOK, I put it back together, took pictures, and put it in the case before something else could happen to it! This was a rough but very enjoyable build, I got to build it three times.

Ben MThank you! I learned a lot about rigging from Elias K while building an earlier model, and bughunter gave me several tips on this model. While it's far from perfect, it was very enjoyable, and I'm happy with the result.

SkyhikerThis looks like an expensive kit. Really nice results. I love these air ships but my scale is 1/72 and I try not to switch to other scales. 1/500 is reasonable for this subject but 1/72 may be a bit over the top since I don't have the room for a 6 foot model.

JohnI've been using X-22 as well, thinned 50% with Mr. levelling thinner. I agree it's not that cost effective. I would try future but it seems iffy on what decal solutions and such it will react with. I used some liquid canopy mask on a future-dipped canopy and it made the future turn milky. Alclad's aqua-gloss (acrylic) and klear coat (lacquer) work pretty well too.
