Beautiful TT. Have a Tempest in TT colours and is lying there for years. It's a metal finish and also those yellow/black lines. Just needs some final construction.

Thanks Michel, I'd love to see your Tempest. I was actually planning on doing one of those myself.

@Mike
Start building it. It was alot of fun. I've put a whole Tamiya tape on it for the underside. Nobody has ever seen it but it's like your TT.

Thanks again for your positive feedback. @Glenn, it's held up with a barbeque skewer, carefully concealed by the viewing angle in most of the photos...

Wow how could this slip past me, super presented excellent model !
How did you paint the "runway" like it is dashing by ?

Thanks a lot guys (and to Dutch, for resurrecting this thread) 🙂
@Hanno The base was created on the computer in Photoshop, then printed out on an inkjet and mounted on the wooden base.

Great job, Mike!👍
I love to see aircraft models arranged in action scenes. This is a brilliant example.

That's bird you can't miss, although you should in real life 😉 I do love the base you've created, it's something I haven't seen before, but I like it...

Album info
This was another opportunity to use a 'speeding base', it depicts a Meteor just leaving the runway.
