The Construction
![Album image #1 Album image #1](/albums/img/2/5/0/171250-11813-95-720.jpg)
And the propeller. I'm entirely satisfied with it.
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/2/4/9/171249-11813-82-720.jpg)
I am not 100% satisfied with resin gun barells, however I didn't manage to make metal replacements...
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/2/4/8/171248-11813-65-720.jpg)
Cowling side. Assembly with the engine is absolutely terrible.
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/2/4/7/171247-11813-70-720.jpg)
The engine is missing the second row of cylinders, however it won't be much visible.
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/2/4/6/171246-11813-11-720.jpg)
The underside with lines washed. Still minor tweaking to do.
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/2/4/5/171245-11813-39-720.jpg)
It all depends on lightning - in daylight roundels are indeed, greyish.
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/2/4/4/171244-11813-32-720.jpg)
Panel lines washed. It all more or less starts to resemble an aircraft...
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/0/0/4/165004-11813-18-720.jpg)
The cowling with a bolt applied. I did the latches and shell ejectors from spare PE as I didn'tfeel like scribing such small rectangles again... And wheel covers.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/0/0/2/165002-11813-67-pristine.jpg)
Decals are good as usual, but the colour choice for the roundel is controversial... I think it should be darker. Despite what you can see it's NOT white actually.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/0/0/0/165000-11813-91-720.jpg)
I added the overpainted band near the tail. Surprisingly - it went smoothly the first time I tried 🙂
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/9/9/9/164999-11813-27-720.jpg)
Myrsky ready for taking decals.
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/0/1/2/163012-11813-94-720.jpg)
The underside is basically RLM65 and again I think that VJ rendition is a little too blue. Though I quite like it 😉
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/0/1/1/163011-11813-98-720.jpg)
Pattern borders need of course touching up.
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/0/0/1/165001-11813-22-720.jpg)
I managed to apply lower swastikas before taking the pictures.
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/0/1/0/163010-11813-25-720.jpg)
The standard three tone Finnish camo applied. Thugh as per FS suggestions I find the Model Air colour quite juicy.
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/2/8/8/137288-11813-95-720.jpg)
Main body glued, filled & sanded.
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/2/9/0/137290-11813-76-720.jpg)
Underside also was filled a bit here and there.
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/2/8/9/137289-11813-87-720.jpg)
Typically - wing roots required some attention.
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/2/9/3/137293-11813-92-720.jpg)
![Album image #20 Album image #20](/albums/img/6/2/0/132620-11813-27-pristine.jpg)
Left instrument panel moe visible.
![Album image #21 Album image #21](/albums/img/2/9/1/137291-11813-49-720.jpg)
A look inside - no seat, instrument panel & some small bits.
![Album image #22 Album image #22](/albums/img/2/9/2/137292-11813-41-720.jpg)
It's not ben retouched yet.
![Album image #23 Album image #23](/albums/img/6/2/2/132622-11813-76-pristine.jpg)
It's quite tight there and not much will be visible even with an opened canopy.
![Album image #24 Album image #24](/albums/img/6/2/1/132621-11813-19-720.jpg)
And the starboard of the plane. Seat wil be attached later.
![Album image #25 Album image #25](/albums/img/6/2/3/132623-11813-62-pristine.jpg)
![Album image #26 Album image #26](/albums/img/6/1/9/132619-11813-88-720.jpg)
Port side of the cockpit.
![Album image #27 Album image #27](/albums/img/9/7/1/575971-11813-82-720.jpg)
This is the actual kit's interior - cleaner and nicer than the previous one.
![Album image #28 Album image #28](/albums/img/9/7/2/575972-11813-23-720.jpg)
Port side again - also with better colours.
![Album image #29 Album image #29](/albums/img/9/7/0/575970-11813-40-720.jpg)
And the seat.
![Album image #30 Album image #30](/albums/img/9/6/6/575966-11813-30-720.jpg)
After returning to this one, firstly I applied the colours that you can see earlier, only to strip it all down and use way better, dedicated Lifecolor set.
![Album image #31 Album image #31](/albums/img/9/6/8/575968-11813-64-720.jpg)
Underside washed.
![Album image #32 Album image #32](/albums/img/9/6/7/575967-11813-79-720.jpg)
After 3 evening with the horror of fitting the engine and the cowling to the fuselage - only minor things to wrap it up!

Thanks a lot for the feedback 🙂 Still some work left to be done, but it's going steadily towards the finish 🙂 (Though I HATE the engine + cowling + MG's assembly is badly thought out... Aligning it all is a nightmare.)

Album info
As usual - everything related to building the kit.
