I have this kit buried in my stash and has been for sometime. Post any issues you come across during your build. I would be curious on what I would be up against if I ever decide to build this thing. If you run into too many issues, I might just ebay mine cheap cheap or donate to my local club.

The quality of mouldings is pretty good. Parts do not seem to have locating lugs so alignment is by eye and tape. It's not taken much filler. It would benefit from a cockpit detail kit, and same for undercarriage I suppose. Comes with three options for the fuselage spine, and lots of armament options. I'll probably fit what looks the coolest rather than what's 'correct'. I bought the kit cheap on eBay as a 'sacrificial' model to practice on. I think it might turn out well though! 🙂

I will be lurking to watch your progress. As an FYI I picked up Eduard's FE569 Self Adhesive PE set for the cockpit so in hopes it could fill in some of the missing detail. I have not addressed if I want to deal with the undercarriage detail yet. As for the choice of the option on the spine for which version to build, I will choose the easy route and will do the MF so I don't have to cut the spine off for the other options. If I really really want a SMT, I will just get the Eduard kit.

Nice camo scheme, PJ.👍
For the next time I would recommend to try the distant masking method, if you know what I mean (sorry but I don't know the correct english expression). It would help to get sharper shapes of the colours.

Thanks Ulf 🙂 I tried just with adjustments to the airbrush but figured out afterwards that I needed some sort of masking technique. Next time will be better! 🙂
