you are in for quite a deal of sanding. recently started with a kit from Mikro Mir too... but they have nice subjects...

That and I realized after adding the upper hull area that the thing becomes quite top heavy at that point. Pondering what to do to keep her level.

Looks good... but why taping when you don't use the tape? also beware of the fingercontour at the last picture? Normally I would paint the hull red, further of that it should be. the the light grey sides of the superstructure. Mask these two colours and finaly the dark-grey (that's better than black, you can add different shades.)

I do use the tape. The tape that you see was to cover the gray that I already put down so that it wouldn't get turned black.
