Both assemblies are ready for a detergent bath pre painting. Still not sure about the future color of the dumper. The undercarriage is going to be plain black or grey. Red Dumper, blue tarp and black undercarriage like Schmitz itself does? See pic 1 of the album.

I'll leave the joints to dry. Tomorrow I'll attach the hydraulic cylinder at the front and the gangway.

Broke that damn handle twice while working on the trailer. Now that everything is in place, hopefully I won't break it again.

Personally mate, I think that it looks better without the gangway. I might pick up one of these kits and have a play around with it? Nice work mate.

Thanks Bozzer! Finished it just a second ago, with gangway...pics on the way.

Definitely ready for the shelf mate.
Does the rear gate open? I tried to make sense of the instructions, but it wasn't exactly clear? I heard that you can do it with the gate open, or closed? However, I couldn't decide if that meant that it was a movable part?

I glued the rear gate shut, since it will be on display with a truck "on the road". But you don't have to and keep it movable.

A truck kit is there, but I first want to finish another old project, the P-39Q Aircobra.

I really need to get son many projects finished, that I haven't made up my mind yet, on what kit to start next? Once my new cave is fully functional, I'll be like a whirlwind 😉

Is the Iveco gonna be hauling this one, Marc? Gonna give us a blow by blow? It would be very nice to see😊.
Bozzer: when you get "kicking" in the new cave, I will be wiping the saliva off my phone screen. Your kits are are some kits I'm dying to see built🥹 Looking forward to the grand re-opening, so to say

@Bozzer, that's why I'm able to finish so many projects in the last weeks, getting familiar with my new cave. @Jonathon, yes, the Iveco is going to be Hauler and for sure I will document the project here. 🙂

You boys just keep doing your stuff! You guys are keeping me alive, through all this madness! Today was landscaping the front of the cave, and making access, far more easier. This now allows me to see the goal post, and get the humongous roll of flooring, through the door. Then I'm on a roll, pardon the pun! 😛
