This aircraft was flown by 1Lt Raymond Knight of Houston, Texas on his Congressional Medal of Honor winning missions of 24-25 April, 1945, during which his aircraft was badly damaged by AA fire, and he was KIA, age 22.
I used a little bit of Eduard PE in the cockpit, and added scratchbuilt brake lines and antenna. Decals from EagleCals, paint is Tamiya acrylics.
