I have 2 yellow paints, and they both are very bad. I don't know how work with it.

Try using Citadel paints, the same that is sold for Warhammer 40K models, it's easy to work with

I have trouble with yellow, too. My daughter, who does some art painting, told me to apply yellow over white and that has helped me. I need to experiment more though.

I know about red on white or silver, but I painted yellow on glossy varnish, since the decals were not suitable. Perhaps if I painted on silver, it would be better, but we have what we have, it will be an experience to me.
