The engine and transmission in the engine compartment. The compartment is far too short, and I had to trim down the engine quite a bit. The kit is very basic, and I will probably only leave very small hatches open so it doesn't show.

There is a weird half of a rear plate in the upper hull (presumably for rigidity), so it's impossible to model with the rear being open.

With the grille on it's impossible to see the transmission. Thankfully this is only a dry fit!

The engine and transmission, assembled and mostly painted. Sadly the part that's going to be showing through the top hatch looks the worst.

And all sealed up. I opened as many hatches as I could, but most of the work is still hidden.

Colour modulation is on. The contrast should fade after weathering.
