Nice. If you keep your floor tidy, I think it will be easier to keep clean overall (assuming you deal with the dust). I dust mop my living room once a day. I don't have a vacuum cleaner though.
In order to protect the floor from paint spill, I bought an office chair mat (150 x 120 cm iirc), that should help protect my wooden panel floor.

Thanks I have a vacuum cleaner but was thinking of putting down cling film the builders use to protect floors but all in its a great space foe me
