To dry-fit the parts, a lot of material has to be abraded. The fit is not perfect, so I sanded the edges a bit to make a good joint. The material of this kit is vinyl, but it's hard to the touch.

The theropodes are added to the dio. There were two copies so I had to thermoform one a bit to be different.

We all love scales, so welcome here. The primer is done now with Armypainter and I worked on the triceratops joints.

Looks like it's tough to fill the gaps and keep the skin texture, good work!

It's not so easy to work on the vinyl, it tends to flake when abraded. I now use CA glue to get a smooth surface after sanding. Today was a fine day to paint outside, so the first colors are already on. The raptors got Vallejo RLM65 and the tops got a sandy belly and some other details. The rest of the body will be painted later, after some masking.

Triceratops is painted with Armypainter ("Zombie Inmates" colors) and Vallejo aquatic acrylics. Unexpectedly a lot of green turned up. Maskol is used for masking bone plates, but the Vallejo base paint didn't stand the scraping so I have to repair that. Though I don't mind considering the results...

Thanks, Ben! now the theropods are also painted, after a lot of cursing because I kept on having tip-dry on the blue striping. The triceratops is posing on its painted base.

Thanks again! Today, the dinos were washed. The triceratops got some standard NATO washes, the raptors were rinsed with a homemade brew of blue and black enamel. Then the eyes were colored with Revell 92. I decided to fix the triceratops to the pigmented base with 2 screws, that had to be located precisely at the spots were they could remain invisible. The raptors will have to be sprayed matt now.

Thanks, Wim! It's done now! I added a bit of dust and repaired a few chips.
