In its final configuration, underwing tanks and Sidewinder rails on wingtips. According to my photos, Luftwaffe liked this clean config at the beginning of their f-104G service. So I like it as emphasizes the rocket-like appearance of this sleek fighter.

...finally I decided to put it on a clear plexiglas console gears up, as neither Revell, nor ESCI undercarriages are perfect. Though the Hasegawa is, but I would regret cannibalizing it. That will be another project.
