A milled recess for brass canon grilles 

...again a paper thin ACE part, here very good as can be formed by fingernail quick and easy.

In its final configuration, underwing tanks and Sidewinder rails on wingtips. According to my photos, Luftwaffe liked this clean config at the beginning of their f-104G service. So I like it as emphasizes the rocket-like appearance of this sleek fighter.  

Canopy masking

...finally I decided to put it on a clear plexiglas console gears up, as neither Revell, nor ESCI undercarriages are perfect. Though the Hasegawa is, but I would regret cannibalizing it. That will be another project.
