No not by hand ... its the Meng Zimmerit .. a real swine to apply, breaks all over the place and will not bend!

Its a great kit, track assembly was ok (yes it was link and link) they provide you with a jig to setup the upper part of each track.

Hi Tony, I am just about to start this and like you have got hold of the meng zimmerit, any recommendation with installing it as i noted you said it would not bend?

Hi Mark, im not sure how old the zimmerit was on the one i got. I bought it off a mate. The zimmerit was extremely brittle, on flat surfaces, as long as you are careful it should be ok, but around anywhere it should bend, it didn't and just fell apart (like around the front machine gun and the back of the turret). I did soak some bits longer and it seemed to help slightly. All i can say is go carefully and slowly, it will work in the end but be prepared for bits to fall off or break.
