Started with the ts white, cut out the supplied masks and then this fluorescent orange loads of coats to get them all to a similar shade but quite please with the results once i peeled of the masks, a bit bleeding out but im confident i can get this remedied, i will leave for a day or 2 and start on the red areas but happy with progress so far simon

Hi not much of an up-date been an interesting week or 2, got the reds on to the fairings , tank and rear seat cowl all was looking great so I gave it a quick rub down with 2k grit and clear coated it using humberol clear BIG mistake orange turned yellow and ran in to the reds and whites after a bit of a cry ((joking) I was in two minds as to rob the parts from another kit but after some investigation I discovered you can strip the paint using oven cleaner or Dettol really to be fair I was stunned that Dettol could be used a a paint stripper(its an antiseptic in the uk), but I felt the the oven cleaner would be to aggressive I decided to give it a try, ok so I mixed it 50/50 with water and soaked it for 22-24 hours really didn't expect it to work if I'm honest, but amazingly I brushed away the bubbling paint and was left with pristine white plastic absolutely brilliant anyway started again and have just about finished the paint work hand on heart I buggered up the tank again and its now re-soaking in a fresh batch of Dettol I was going to live with it, but I would see the blemish every time I looked at it, & I would kick my self for not stripping it back...
so here are the other parts I will try and get the tank done over the weekend and start the decals & polishing this off (if the tank don't beat me again)

the supplied masks from Tamiya seem to be made of super thin masking tape and really stop any seepage, works great, easy cut out and fit really well. but after the repaint I discovered that you can cut the left overs down to re-mask the lines it seemed quicker and simpler to do this but it's the end result that counts....

Well finally i managed to get that pesky tank assembly done turned out quite well. The lighting in the pictures distorts the coulur but i will up load more when time allows

beautiful job
about deleting a picture, select the album, go to manage and then just look for the picture and hit the trashcan icon in the right to delete
if you select advance options, you can also rotate images
