What a cool idea ! Deck and plane are looking great already !
Are thes wires the support for the „explosions" ?

Fantastic realisation of your vision! Photo 9 is my choice - it's like an eye-level (eye witness) viewpoint, and the dramatic angle of the aircraft adds movement. The explosions work really well 🙂

Hi Bruce, yes photo 9 is my favorite too, I only think in real life the plane dropping a bomb and flying so low would destroy itself too. 🙂

A really super result, the explosions, the deck and the overall look are very convincing !
The only improvement i.m.o. would be a blurred, „as if turning" prop.
Roland Sachsenhofer has a very simple and easy to achieve method to make blades that look like they're turning, worth a look perhaps ? 🙂

i agree with Hanno, but i would considered getting a cable via the support, to feed one of those tiny motors to move the propeller. that would be realistic! 🙂
strobez has done that multiple times in 1/72, so 1/32 should be certainly possible too

I like photo 9 the best. Very creative. I also like the idea of a blurred prop somehow. Congrats.

Hi Hanno, Thanks for the compliment, The blurred prop was indeed in my head when I build the diorama, I lasered some samples and I didn't like it. I see the picture as just a moment in time.

Hi, Spanjaard, I did this with another finished project, the Flying Dutchman, 2 micro motors and it works nice, but same as I told Hanno, a diorama is a moment in time, where time stood still.

Hi guys, I'm busy with a SDB Dauntless as usual I like to put it in a diorama, I choose Midway (The movie) for inspiration and to honour those heroes who flew these great planes. I made several screenshots but I like to ask you guys which of the three you prefer. Thanks.
