Thanks Roland, a lot of fun works indeed!
I'm getting the hang of the PE Bender. The hardest part is to figure which side to fold fist.

Than k you for the nice comments. I took advantage of the kids being at their grand-parents for 2 weeks to start this summer project.
Photoetched parts have always been a challenge, but with the bender they are getting staigther. Now the challenge is more to glue them with the minimal amount of glue to not mess up the surface on which they are glued.
I used a magnifying helmet that I received a few years ago. I was sceptic of the contraption at first, but I found out it's like putting a scope on your rifle. It allow for a lot more precision of movement.

Indeed Thorsten. I saw in a YouTube video, someone using a syringe to apply CA glue. Although it must be needle consuming (I assume it get stuck when the glue dry in it), it seem to work well.
the worst was when I the printed photoetched part stick on my finger and the print stay on it when I pry off the part.

I am using metal toothpick and an old sponge to clean it after applying. Until now it is working fine.

I glued the fuselage & wings yesterday. Fit was not bad, but some part had warppe a bit. I glued the fuselage step by step, while forcing the parts to fit together. Went well nut I still have a gap to fill dehind the wing center part and the fuselage.

Back from vacation! I was quite eager finish the assembly of the fuselage with cockpit and wing. Although the fuselage part were a bit warped, I didn't need too much of putty to fill all the gap between the surfaces.

I like it a lot. It's the first ICM kit I have ever build. The plastic is a bit soft (not as much as Airfix though) so you have to be careful with scribing panels lines and when sanding. The fit is mostly great. As stated above, some big part had warped a bit overtime, but they manage to fit once assembled. Just wish there was a set swastikas in the decals kit.
Hope you'll ebjoy your build has much as I am enjoying mine.

Almost done with the decals. I'm waiting for swastikas in the mail and I'll be good to weather the model.

Tanks Andy, I'm half way done with the weathering. I hope to finish it before the end of the month.
