The British desert yellow is made of Tamiya XF-59 (x4), XF-57(x1) and XF19(x1). All thinned down with Mr.Color leveling thinner 400

The crew in the tower lean forwards to keep upright as the Scorpion goes up.
Buiding and painting the crew, made from Valkyrie Miniatures and Acurate Armour Gulf War Crews. The Scorpion is depicted on Operation Granby, charging to Basra.
On the right shoulder the black desert rat, on the left the royal lion of Scotland.

Almost there, pushed it into the wet AK desert sand
Royal Scots Dragoon Guards charging Basra Road during Operation Granby in 1991 with their Scorpion CVR(T)
The last adjustments were made after tips from modellers. A shield made of foto paper with the Eagle and the Royal banner of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, with the title “ Charging For Basra Road”.

I painted the sides brown and placed a new nameplate. The pictures are made outside. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to shoot with real blue sky in the background

Thanks to all. The tracks are very individual from Masterclub @David. Very clean, but a lot of work, each track gets a rubber pad and two resin pins. By far the most gorgeous tracks I worked with.

woooo I love how dynamic the scene is! the tank rearing up, and the dust cloud, and the sand spilling on the top of the diorama, I love it!
