StuG. III Ausf. F/8 (90 Panzerjager-Abteilung of 10 Pz. Div.)
A few of photos showed the StuG III Ausf. F/8 in the theater of Tunisian campaign.
Only 4 StuG III Ausf. F/8’s have been successfully transported to Tunisia in early 1943. All of them were then re-classified to 10 Pz. Div..

It seemed the StuG III Ausf. F/8 in North Africa were late production batch (manufactured after Nov. 1942) as it had bolted armor on the front hull.
Another photo showed the StuG III Ausf. F/8 in Tunisian campaign. We could see there was a tow hook on the rear of lower hull, that was also one of the features for late production StuG III Ausf. F/8.
The muzzle brake seemed to be brushed in black or metal color; I am not sure about the cover coat for this vehicle, but I highly believe this StuG III was painted in RAL 8020 with the camouflage of RAL 7027. Most of vehicles affiliated to 10 Pz. Div. were painted in RAL 8020.

I did not see the machine gun shield on this vehicle. Maybe the shield was not installed or even introduced at this moment.
